Stern und Kreis · Am Weidendamm, Friedrichstraße
Stern und Kreis' standard city loop leaves Am Weidendamm by Friedrichstraße station and covers Museum Island, the Nikolaiviertel, the Cathedral and the Reichstag in an hour. It's the most-booked Spree trip because it's simple: frequent departures, five minutes from the S-Bahn, done in sixty minutes.

This is Stern und Kreis' historical city tour (C4). The pier is at Am Weidendamm 1A, on the corner of Friedrichstraße, about five minutes on foot from S+U Friedrichstraße. The boat heads east past Museum Island and the Humboldt Forum to the Nikolaiviertel and the TV tower, turns, and runs back past the Cathedral and Friedrichstraße into the government quarter. It turns again near the Chancellery and the Haus der Kulturen der Welt and finishes where it began.
The commentary works the way it does on most big Berlin boats: German over the speakers, and a free audio guide in 12 languages (English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Russian, Polish, Swedish, Chinese, Hebrew and Finnish). If you want a person talking in English, the Hadynski cruise across the river has a live guide for about the same money.
Departures are frequent. On 28 October 2026 the operator listed eight, between 11:00 and 16:00. The pier is reached only by stairs, though strollers can get into the enclosed deck. Outside food and drinks aren't allowed, but there's a bar. And like every one-hour loop, it stays in Mitte: no East Side Gallery.
From S+U Friedrichstraße, walk north to the river. The pier is at Am Weidendamm 1A, down a flight of stairs.
German commentary plays over the speakers. Ask for a handset in your language.
